So we bought this cute little house a bit more then two years ago in Ogden. We love it so much and have put our blood sweat and tears into it. Its probly not the best area but for sure not the worst i mean its out of the canyon. When we first moved in of course I put all my cute decorations on my front pouch and loved it.. well I kept getting people telling me that was dumb and I should take it in or it would get stolen. I never thought of some one stealing from us weather I forget there are creepy people who have last there way or I was just to silly to come to reality. So we went on with our lives. Last fathers day we came home from a BBQ and Dans work truck was gone. Some one had stolen it. Lucky the cops found it a week later and they hadn't stolen every thing in site. A few months later Dans 700 dollar chop saw was stolen out of the back of his yellow truck.... during church! Now jump to now. We have two couples we do FHE with each week and last night was my night to cook and have them in our home. It was an amazing lesson All the wife's were balling there eyes out. I felt the spirit so strong. Dan had talked about how our life right now is getting trown by every trial you could think of. My mom is sick money is tight each car we touch breaks but we seem to hold it all together because of the church. We both went to bed wanting to be better members of the Gospel. I open my eyes this morning and Dan is looking at me with this face I have seen before. Something is wrong. Turns out some one had tried to steal his yellow truck while we were sleeping!!! They put black tape over his window broke it out. Didn't get away with the truck but took his blackberry the charger and three boxes of pop tarts weird. We looked every where when we couldn't find it last night expect in the truck. I feel so unsafe here. Not in our home it was blessed last night to welcome the spirit and so it can be a place of the Gospel and truth. And now that crime has hit us three times in the last year We want to live some where safe! I know I shouldn't be angry at the people who did this and I need to forgive but it may take a min! Dan just wants to sleep outside waiting to mudralate them . Crazy dude but sreves him right! I hope for our daughters sake our home is protected and we May be safe. Also dumbies stop stealing from us!!
Tis the season. I am sorry about all that has happened to your vehicles. I assure you however, that it is not just our area. This is Trinity by the way. I came across your blog from Sheri's. My husand Andrew has a Jeep Wrangler (these cars are infamous for being broke into) It has been broken into 3 times. Twice at the mall and once at our house and once attempted at our house. Last year we invested in an alarm to deter burlars. I had called the police a few times and they said during the spring to fall people just go up and down the towns looking for potential cars to break into. I am sorry you feel violated and unsafe. My husband too at one point wanted to do a stake out. However, we to would like to move to a better area and have our own house where we do not have to share our walls :]
